We currently have our travel trailer listed in the IWANTA (as advised by our local RV dealer) and on eBay motors. Contrary to our dealer's advice, the IWANTA add has produced nothing but one SPAM/scam response and one "agent" wanting to sell it for us (for a commission, of course). The eBay Motors listing has only be up two days, but it's had over 80 views and there are four people with it on their watch list with four days to go on the auction. I've sold many things on eBay and the usual pattern is that people will watch it until the last hour or two and then start bidding.
A few years ago, I sold a boat on BoatTrader - the add was about $125 and the boat sold in a couple of days. Our dealer, however, says they don't get much in the way of results from RVTrader (the same outfit).
As for pricing, I priced the travel trailer (a 2013 Surveyor Sport in perfect condition) halfway between wholesale and private party retail to attract buyers and lookers... if a couple of folks want to bid against each other and drive it up a bit, I wouldn't mind at all!
I am definitely not a expert but I have sold 2 MH myself. Sold both on RVTrader using the 14 day cheapest listing. RVTrader, like EBay reaches more buyers than most listings. I sold 1st to purchaser in Pa. and 2nd to purchaser in Ohio. I live in Ga. so I feel it works.
