Advice from another old Geezer, If you are eligible to get the pass, try to get one before the price goes up. If you can't, the get one as soon as you can. It wan't be as much of a bargain, but if you plan on doing much travel at all, it is a good one to have on your wallet.

Dang! My wife will be 62 in October when we'll be visiting Moab. I was kind of hoping to get her the pass before the price increase. My luck, we'll have the very first pass issued at $80. Still a good deal, though, for a lifetime pass.

Yep that's it. My dh has had one for a couple of years but since I just got to the age to get one we thought why not. We were actually surprised it was still $10, rumor had it the cost had already went to 80.
