There are some statements in this thread that the superhitch Hensleys and ProPrides are indifferent to tongue weight because of their design. This is, they are designed to act like fifth wheelers which are famous for no-sway towing.
So, logically, if one accepts this as true, then why are fifth wheelers designed to have 15% to 20% or more of their weight on the hitch? Why would the fifth wheel manufacturers not bring the wheels forward to achieve a more benign tongue weight and allow those poor overburdened pickup trucks to breath a little easier and negate the need for those fat rear ends on the duallys?
I'd be careful of tongue weight no matter what hitch type being used.
