Get a weather radio and monitor it. Know what county you are in and pay attention. That's about all you can do. There are millions out on the roads. They don't stay home. You won't be alone. Oh.... and if you drive fast through Texas you won't have to worry about tornados anymore. Then you can worry about dust storms and earthquakes! :) Have a good trip!!
