I am a born and raised okie and we have some pretty severe weather at times. I would try to be WEATHER AWARE by what ever means you may have access to. Plan ahead as far as possible and be ready to alter your route if needed. You can get into trouble and there is not a tornado within your area. High straight line winds, large hail, and flooding are some things you need to watch out for. Try to plan your stops at night so that you are in a campground and know where to go if the weather gets bad in the night. Don't be caught asleep and not have time to escape the rv if need be.
