Sewage smell, also how do you clean your tanks?

I've done the lazy way of squirting hand dish soap into the black tank, adding a few gallons of water and calling it done. The dish soap does eventually liquify anything dropped down that can break apart (it is made to get rid of grease on dishes), so in a waste tank, it does a decent job.

The biggest thing: Water, water, and more water.
