sewer hose wrench question

http://www.amazon.com/JR-Products-Kwikturn-Drain-Wrench/dp/B001NT2VU4
I was hoping someone could tell me if the jr kwikturn wrench ( above link) works on the type of sewer hose I have. The rv connection has the "nobs" , the sewer hose has the "hooks". I'm having a hard time visualizing how this would help me disconnect the hose from the motorhome. My hands aren't as strong as they used to be.
Thanks for any help.

Mine wasn't an O ring but was flat with little tits on it that stuck through some holes in the fitting so it would stay in place.
I bought one at an RV store.

  • Thanks for the replies. The strap wrenches look like they might work. I'll check on them.
  • Strap wrenches are dirt cheap at Harbor Freight, I keep a set at home and another in the 5er. :)

    Strap wrenches work well also.
They're usually easy to find locally.

    And they are cheap.

I paid under five dollars for that set at ACE Hardware.

  • It should work..sewer hose couplings are all standard size.
(at least all mine have been over the years of owning a bunch of different hoses from different manufacturers)
