hooked up with my truck then winched my truck out, using 2x12s to support it where it needed it. success.

did manage a face plant in the mud though shame nobody captured that.

truck doesn't look too mud-spattered, so it must have worked out well. Congrats!

ya we left most of the work to the wince, slow stead pull. just a few splatters. slow and steady wins the race.

No strips of OSB like you considered?

no I went with 2x12s worked well. stopped at home depot the other day and they were on sale and the lot had a ton that were warped or damaged a bit so they sold them 50 percent off. less than 4 bucks for an 8 foot 2x12 made it a no brainer.

another bonus for me was though very saturated the compacted clay was only about 8 inches down so for a lot of the run they weren't needed
