And this is why the insurance industry needs to be regulated! We pay a lot of money for years without using the insurance, then you use it once and they want to double dip and charge you more for using it, so in reality you are not getting what you initially paid for! they know this and that is why they still do it. now if you filed a claim every month then yes, but when you make a claim once every 10 years there should be no reason to raise anyones rates, even if you were at fault!
