We are occasional campers. We've had a 35 foot 5th wheel which was just too large for the two of us. Especially when it came time to back that thing up our drive and to the side of the house :E ... so...
Once parked at your site and hooked up, you have to unhook to take the vehicle to see the sights. or drive to the grocery. If not, then you have to pull a tow vehicle to get around without unhooking.
for me this is big only because when parked, no way we want to unhook, put away things inside so they don't move/shift, etc. I like a separate vehicle for touring.
