We are occasional campers. We've had a 35 foot 5th wheel which was just too large for the two of us. Especially when it came time to back that thing up our drive and to the side of the house :E ... so...

I will put it this way.. how often will you drive that "C" and how often will it sit on it's storage pad?
Motor Vehicles are designed to be driven, they can be "mothballed" safely for years at a time but it is a very involved job.. If you are just Vacationing in the RV once or twice a year...Stick with the trailer.
If you plan on frequent travel.. Then remember the rules for generators.
1/2 hour, under at least 1/2 load, every month.. Same for the motor home's engine, 1/2 hour on the freeway every month. (Note 2 months is ok and if you must, park it over winter with stabilized fuel in the tank, FULL tank by the way.)
