Only got REAL stuck once. The 4x4 and some sense always got me out. Even pulled a 41' 3-slide 5ver up a muddy hill with my 2005 F250 6.0. Threw mud all over, but I made it up that hill....
The one time I got stuck good was 3 miles from my house, went into an old park area that nobody but a 4wd club used. Went into a mud hole about 20' by 60' that I had been in several times before, knew it wasn't over 2 feet deep. Well, somebody threw an old mattress and a mattress spring set into that hole. Didn't know it until the mattress springs wrapped themselves around the driveshaft. That was a mess.
