Shower door latch

Question

The latch on the shower door has loosened to a point where I don't think it will secure the door while we are moving.  I've tried to tighten it, but the screw just turns.  It won't tighten ip or loosen enough to remove and replace.  Any ideas?  Thanks

Slip something very thin behind the screw head while you try to loosen it.  Putting just a little pressure outwardly should allow it to pick up the threads and back out.  I much prefer a magnetic latch with a manual lock.  It's easy to use and keeps it closed dead on certain while traveling.
