Shower stool or chair
Am in need of a shower chair or stool for the rv. All of the standard stools offered are too large to fit into the tub. Has anyone found one that will fit. The tub in only 13" wide and the smallest stool I've found is 17"

- I bought a black metal stool from walmart, 18in high, took the seat off (four screws) and put a silicone bead around the base of the seat to prevent water from getting into the cardboard seat base, and screwed it back down, added 4 larger foot pads to it and it works perfect, no rusting and plenty of room still in the stall! Total cost $17.00
- Go to a local woodworker and have one built out of teak.
- Look around for a plastic stool (step stool) that may fit. I found one at

but you may find a better one by doing a Google search for `plastic step stool' or just `plastic stool'. Some of them fold up but the more sturdy ones are one piece.
