I will admit our grandkids use the sidewalk chalk quite often when we camp at parks with paved spots. And usually other kids join in. And more than once the park rangers even give advice and comments on the drawings.
It's interesting to see the creativity based on what they have been doing at the campground. Heck, they have even made hopscotch game and end up with others joining in.
Oh, and our kids did the same thing. I would have but all we had was thi white chalk and gravel campgrounds. Not a good combo.
As long as they do it in our spot not an issue IMHO. And when we have had sites with drawing in them, we usually take a look, see the creativity of kids, then park.
The ONE rule we enforce is NO sidewalk chalk in any roadway for safety.
we do a quick sweep before we leave. Doesn't necessarily get rid of all the art, but gets rid of the dust.
