Silverado 1500 to Avalache 2500 wiring question

We traded in our 2003 Silverado Ext 1500 for a 2003 Avalache 2500 yesterday because of safety issues with towing with a 1500 series. We pulled the adapter pull we bought for the Silverado off of it and want to install it on the Avalanche. This is what the Avalanche has on it.

The Silverado had a adaptor underneath of it we just plugged this into it.

And mounted this end on the frame of the truck. "This is the plug that we use to plug the camper into.

The Avalanche doesn't have the plug hanging underneath to plug into . The following is a pic of the undercarriage of the Avalache. We are confused as to had to go about changing this.

looks to me that the previous owner of the Avalanche took off the 7 blade plug and installed the 6 pin round instead of just buying an adapter if it was me i would go buy a 7 blade and install it because the 6 pin round is not standard equiptment on the avalanche
X 2 - the 6 pin is an aftermarket add-on. Get rid of it!
  • You will have to purchase a 7 blade connector with the screw connectors on the back. Unwire te existing connector, determine which wire for each function and connect it to the corresponding terminal on the new connector. Sounds harder than what it really is.
