reading all these posts about jumping thru hoops every 6 months makes me appreciate my auto pay ala carte plan. :)

Not sure what’s so hard about spending less than 5 minutes on the phone every 6 months.
I agree with you. Very little effort involved.
Not sure about what is so difficult about hitting the "scan" button on the radio and if that doesn't work either plugging in a thumb drive or talking to the other people in the vehicle...
Scan button = endless commercials, overplayed popular songs
Cost of subscription is $5 per month. Downloading songs on my phone are $1 each. Who the world uses a thumb drive in their car anymore?? I've never even loaded a CD in the slot of my new truck. If we're using the ideal of antiquated technology as the basis of our discussion, I could probably still find some cassette tapes.
Talk to other people? Most of my drive time is by myself, and I've already solved all the world's problems between me and myself.
I'm a self-described anti-noise guy. I enjoy some music and some talk radio and some news radio, but the vast majority of my driving is in silence. For those times when I want to listen to something, I find that $5 per month is peanuts in a $60K truck.
