Slide repair in Yuma?

The bolts on the shaft to one of my slides are sheared and the the square tubing around the shaft is warped and the bolt hole is elongated causing slip issues even with a new bolt.

Anyone know a place in Yuma they recomend? I'm a DIY'er but not sure about tackling this.

Have a spot on roof I'd like looked at too but thinking about doing that myself. My issue is a place to work on it since I can't store it at home.

Issue is on 5th Wheel from sig: 2008 Rockwood Signature Ultralite 8288

I think it's the insurance that drives up small business prices. Glad you escaped, if it wasn't for 5 grandkids I'd be in Utah...

  • The only money you'll save will be your time to haul it to a service center, around here it's $85 service call and $95 an hour plus parts.
  • Photographer, I'm a DIY also, but do follow the comments from folks in this area for the last 14 years. Two that seem to do a good job are Foothills RV and Ron's Mobile RV repair.

  • Found one in Foothills with good reviews on Yelp. Wondered if there was someone with personal experience. I do figure a mobile repair or independent shop will be much quicker and hopefully cheaper than a dealer.
  • Just goggle mobile rv repair in Yuma and tell them what's going on, several with 5 star ratting.
