- NewbienacExplorerOK, no fair now. What is a Red Road? (not the highway I suspect). Yeah, no problem if that's the case.
Lowsuv, thanks for the heads-up on the check you mentioned. This talk is sooo greek to me I've forgotten already; but I'm going back to your post and writing it down! End of April I'll be doing a final 'flight' check and will ask my repairman. Thank you (both)...
Beth - pianotunaNomad IIIHi Beth,
Just stick to the "red" roads.Newbienac wrote:
I'm getting ready to take my first big trip (and maybe even by myself and two dogs). Meaning, I'm slightly terrified as it is, let alone having to keep up with the Jones passing me doing 80 in a 70 or some such. In my little 20' Toyota Dolphin, I can't see myself doing more than 60. For fear of blowing a tire and wind issues, people will just have to go around me as I cling to the right and pray lolol...

Beth - LowsuvExplorerMy sister has a Dolphin MH on the Toyota chassis .
A few years back a rear wheel bearing failed and it left her stranded .
You may have addressed this already but it might be sound practice to have the rear wheel bearings replaced if this Dolphin is new to you .
Dual rear tires but the axle is the weakest link. - NewbienacExplorerI'm getting ready to take my first big trip (and maybe even by myself and two dogs). Beth - D___MExplorerWhat was the original question? :h
- doxiemom11Explorer IIThe interstate near us here in Mississippi has a minimum 40 mph.
- fj12ryderExplorer IIINo duh, a high THC concentration makes for a impaired driver. Wow, what a news flash. :) How many had a high concentration of alcohol?
Although exactly what that has to do with my post is pretty much beyond me since I was commenting on the comparison between speeding rules and pot laws. - BumpyroadExplorer

I found a number of similar studies, this short quote summarized a lot of boring info. Visit a Narcotics Anonymous meeting and you can learn much more.
yeah, but if you are high enough you don't really care.

Sounds great to me. OTOH maybe you should have a toke and chill out a bit. :)
And FWIW comparing speeding and smoking a bit of rope is like comparing apples and oranges. Speeding is useful since you can/will spend less time on the highway trying to get where you want to go, whereas smoking a bit of pot is just recreational and hurts no one.
I will give you one thing: Slow drivers meeting fast drivers can be a problem.
