That is exactly what I do. And yes, I have a great time. 3 to 4 hundred kilometers (180 to 240 miles) is all I wish to travel in a day.
Where I live, the speed limit on limited access four lane highways is 110 kph. For two lane highways that drops to 100. The usual speed in cities may often be 50 kph, except in school zones where it is 30.
Trucks used to be limited to 90 kph, but that is no longer the case.
