Thanks, that is one of the worries extra weight on the hitch and trying to find out / work out how much. Scooter only about 300lb and a scooter type carrier would be 30-60 extra depending on type. Everyone keeps saying that the Ford E450 on a 30ft class C is already going to be on max rear axle and hitch will not take a lot of weight.
Whilst used to backing up a conventional trailer downhill on a narrow track with a bend in a 4x4, a 30ft RV will not be so simple and easy to make a mistake in haste. Hence why looking at a swivel trailer.
