Snake Bite Kit

Does anyone have a recommendation for a snake bite kit that is small and suitable for taking along while backpacking? We have done quite a bit of hiking and have never even encountered a snake but this season we plan to go a little further off the beaten path to trails that are less well traveled. We're not from the west and really don't have the experience to judge what is a good kit and what isn't. Thank you for your experienced input.
