I'll agree with those who say that, for the most part, this is a very good forum. Any "snarkiness" is usually minimal and for the most part tolerable.
I personally like some of the jokesters on this forum. It would be very clinical if everyone simply answered questions without some throwing a bit of humor in now and then. So I don't consider that being snarky at all.
Just read comments on some of the news postings on Bing, etc. if you want to see how real nasty some folks can get. I think the moderators here do a pretty good job of keeping things in check, and stopping threads when they go seriously off track.
There are many times that I get the urge to respond to a comment that is wildly off base, or shows dramatically different values than I hold, but I (usually) just type up a response, and then delete it before posting.
