A lot of posters are suggesting a Dr. visit and a sleep study for the snorer. This is great advice. I was a very loud snorer. I don't know how my wife put up with it. I fought going in for a sleep study. After I had a heart attack which almost killed me did I agree to go in. I was still the nastiest patient that ever went in for a sleep study as I didn't want a CPAP.
It is now 3 years later and I advocate to any snorer to find out why they are snoring. Don't wait like I did and have to deal with the damage from a heart attack. I now sleep quietly and I wake up well rested due to my CPAP. I can't imagine trying to sleep without it.
