I had sleep apnea, or rather still have it. But I now use a CPAP machine. I was in denial for a long time. When driving to work, I'd go to sleep just long enough to wake up in another lane. I used to go to sleep talking on the phone at work and have no idea who I was talking to. Finally, under threat of losing my job, I saw a doctor and went in for a sleep study. I woke up about every two minutes. Not enough to be aware of it, but it kept me from ever getting into REM sleep. They fitted me with a CPAP machine. There's no doubt that it saved my life and probably the lives of others. Sleep Apnea can destroy your kidneys over time. And you can't live without them.
So far nobody that's responded has claimed to be a doctor, including me. If you snore regularly SEE A DOCTOR. It could save your life.
