I see that junk all the time.
It's not just the 3500 guys either! I've seen 2500 and 1500's with bad hitch situations plus stupid driving behaviors.
I was coming home from WDW on I75 north and I saw several rigs in all weight classes with their tails dragging and their headlights pointing up begging for mercy.
Two of the worst were a 3500 diesel ford with what appeared to be a 35 ft fiver. He was driving at least 80 mph and was swerving in and out of traffic like a racer boy. Truly a dangerous driving situation for everyone on the road.
The second was a new body style Tundra (07-13) pulling a little 23 ft trailer. His truck was level and his trailer was level, he had a WD hitch but was all over the road. He was driving 50-55 mph just to keep it somewhat under control. I couldn't identify the true culprit of the swaying but I suspect it was a badly loaded trailer with a light tongue weight.
