Easy just put my tail gate down and now it's 8 feet long.
I know a guy in Northwestern Montana who needed to haul some things that required a 12 foot bed, but all he had was a 1946 Ford long narrow box pickup.
So, he went and found another truck just like it, chopped them apart, welded what he needed back together, and had a 1946 Ford L-O-N-G (12 foot) narrow box pickup.Just goes to show, if you want it bad enough, and have the time, skill, and money, it CAN be done!
