Its possible that his immune system is compromised and he is taking extra precautions! I myself have my immune system medically depressed and use lots of sanitizer, regardless of what I do!
That said, I don't go to that extreme but rubber gloves do it for me! My sinus' are shot and I have no taste so I cant smell hardly anything much less taste, so the rubber gloves work for me, followed by some had sanitizer!
I have to say tho, the vision of dressing in that get up to drain your black tank is a classic for the highlight reel folks!
