So, just how "hazardous" can a tank full of poo be?

Never could understand why someone would dawn themselves with something that resembled an outer space suite and those heavy rubber gloves that a mad scientist would use on Frankenstein. Then simply take the dump hose and toss it in an open bay and throw in the gloves? Yet, I've seen this many, many times at dump stations. I wonder if those germs crawl from their camper bay, penetrate the floor and creep into bed with them?
