We did much the same. We went from a 35 ft 5th wheel to a 19 ft trailer. The 19 was a little too small so we went to a 23 ft trailer and it is nearly perfect. I guess if one was working or living in one place most of the time a large 5th wheel is ideal but on the move and seeing things a smaller shorter trailer is better.
