I never noticed anything bad about him and do remember that he seemed to offer good ideas. I'm not talking about OB but some on here can offer decent information at times but then come on with very stupid and nasty remarks. I guess they think they are cops or just plain bully types.
I dont know much about the Marcus comments that allow criticism but after reading the tou again I could see where one of the items may be used to ban people. It's the 11th item on the list.
"You may post about problems you have with a product or organization, however the use of the forums to repeatedly attack them is strictly forbidden"
Maybe CW includes themselves as an "organization" and who by the way is giving a free website to all of us.
I guess I would interpret that to mean that you can state your problem and CW may have someone come on and ask you to contact them with a message so as to address the problem. I would also think that they then intend for the person to stop bringing it up. If they continue to make a point of CW in a negative way maybe it could get them banned. I'm just throwing ideas out there and dont know the deep history of all this stuff. I do know that rule number one is they can ban you for any reason they see fit. If you look at it from the point of a business that is trying to create a profit why should they give a free service that then let's people complain about them over and over?
Yes, constructive criticism is good but maybe it needs to be handled in a different way. They could close the forum and have it not be a negative to them. Sure, bad stores and bad service would still hurt them in the market place but at least they wouldn't be paying for a forum that hurts them. Do their competitors have forums?
I'm not making excuses for CW but now days I always keep it in mind that there are a lot of rubdubs working low pay jobs in our wonderful "service economy". It just seems that the days of quality and pride in ones career are not the same. It's push push push. You cant even get your tires balanced and rotated with out the tires being inflated to 62/81 front & 72/80 rear!!!!!
So dont tell me some stupid remark like "stay home if I dont like it". Offer ideas that keep good people on here or make it a better place.
