So what have you found to be the best all around dinghy?

I've got a truck camper & also plan on buying the wife a Wagon/SUV? I'm thinking in about the $5K price range? & its gotta have room for 4 people a space in the back for our dog, that we will be p...

In your price range and a true SUV that will accommodate 4 and your dog in comfort, look at a Suzuki XL-7. We towed a 99 Suzuki Vitara which was good, then went to an 2003 XL-7 which is very very comfortable to drive and ride in, plus is a little billy goat off road. It has a truck style ladder chassis, a true transfer case and is plug and pull for towing.
