I took mine at sixty two and a half. DW will retire at the end of this year at age 67, however, she began drawing on mine when she reached her full retirement age of 66. She will draw on mine until she reaches 70 then draw hers which will be about 25% more than it would have been at age 66. We learned this by sitting down with a SS representative. I strongly suggest you visit your local SS office and consult with them, they can be a big help. IMHO SS won't quit paying in 2033 or whatever year the rumor has it, it may reduce some benefits.
