Please forgive, if this answer has been given, because I did not read every post. I started drawing SS retirement at 62 because I was unemployed and had run out of benefits. I too would have had a breakeven date of about 85. Here's the big difference, did you add the income you make between 62 and 66 or 70 or whatever? You not only add the total earnings of those years, but you also add to the pot your benefits are drawn from. Now if you can't wait, so be it, but if you can, you are better off. Each situation is different. Hope this helps.
