1. Carpet scraps work well for traction and weigh less than horse stall mats. I have snow tracks that I can lay down for additional traction if needed. 2. If the trailer has sunk into the ground, jack it up and put boards or gravel under the wheels. 3. Decreasing truck and trailer tire pressure until on hard ground will help keep it on top of soft ground. 4. Do not use WD until the trailer is on hard ground so you maximize traction on your drive wheels.
