Solar needed?

I want to thank every one for all the informative commnets. You have been verfy helpful. That being said, I have decided not to go with the solar. I have managed for almost 10 years without it so obviously it is not something that I need.
My reasoning was that I wanted to keep the battery fully charged while in storage but with the lifepo4 battery that is not really needed. I will just spend my money on something else that I may or may not need.
by instorage do you need the off season, or just when you are not using it? if it is the latter then you kinda do want to trickel charge it if you can and its easy, but you can also just turn off the battery which is what I think you have decided to do. just before you do that make sure your disconect disconects everything from the battery , if not add another battery shutoff switch right on the battery termanal. a lot of rv's still have some things drawing power even when the battery switch is turned off.
I guess that I am one of the lucky ones. My battery disconnect turns off everything in the trailer, Actually that is another reason i was looking into solar. Tjhere are some things that I would like to keep powered if possible. my new propane detector has a led readout that is shut off when the disconnect is on and I have a trailer leveling device that needs to be charged prior to use. I also have a battery monitor and shunt,not sure if that is affected by the disconnect or not. I dont think so but I'm not certain.
I may look into one of the solar maintainers or possibly a 100 watt panel to see how that would work.
that would probably work good, I would still recomend finding a 24V 200 watt panel. its the same work to install as the 100 watt panel, but the higher voltage and amprage will work better on cloudy days.
