Solid Color State Maps for RVs
We're new (16' CampLite by Livin' Lite purchased March 2012). One of the first things we wanted for our TT after doing 9 states, was one of the old-style RV maps, with solid color states, to begin recording our experiences.
We, like others who posted to this thread in 2008 (http://forums.goodsamclub.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/22227326.cfm) didn't want the new "picture license plate" version, because it's less clear, at a glance, where you've traveled.
Apparently the company has stopped making the old style, but we just found one in a small, locally-owned RV parts and repair shop. So, don't give up, if you're like we were and must have the old style. Stock is still out there!
Just for completeness, here's the info from the set we purchased, although previous posts suggest the manufacturer can't help. And yes, it was the last old set the parts and repair shop had, or I would point you that direction, too. The other map sets on display were the new kind. From the package:
