You will know if I am happy after a sale because I always ask the sales person for about 10 business cards so I can give them to people as I refer them to him.
Honestly, respect, doing as you say you will, and following up with information get you something from me.
Being dishonest or giving me information that I know is bad will get you dropped like a hot potato. I've actually told a salesperson I would not buy from them and then walked right back in the dealership and asked for a knowledgable salesperson who would listen to what I wanted. Actually bought my truck from the second guy. The first one told me the truck he was showing me would pull a 8000 lb trailer great (Half ton chevy) and had no idea what rear end gear was in the one he was showing me.
If you don't reward bad service, bad sales people don't get sales and find new jobs.
