Nice little article. I had to chuckle about the Saturns not being "off road capable", reminded me of when we headed down the road less traveled in our '98 Saturn SL2 and ended up driving on 40+ plus miles of forest service road that at times was deeply rutted, steep or both. The little Saturn didn't like scraping the air dam but it got us there. It has survived both my kids and more than a few bumps and bruises, and with over 160K on the clock and no major engine work it refuses to die. Good car, but like you said, not the best for off-pavement adventures.
