My rig is full of fake wood cabinetry that is nothing more than MDF covered with wood looking vinyl covering. I have several spots where the vinyl is torn away and revealing the ugly stuff underneath....

It is available by the roll from any hardware store. Nothing fancy, just cut to size, peel and stick. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth.
