I used to have AAA Rv Plus coverage. On our way to the Grand Canyon we had a blowout. Not wanting to wait a couple of hours for the AAA affiliated service I just changed the tire. About three miles down the road I had a second tire blow out. I called AAA and they told me that if I did not have a spare tire they could do nothing for me. They even asked if I needed a tow which I replied, if it cold be towed I could tow it. This was before I had a smart phone so no looking up a place near by to help. Luckily my wife keep all our old campground information brochures and one had a tire shop in the town we were going to and called him. Had a new tire within a hour and a half. I went to his shop the next day and had him replace all the other tires including the spare.
