Yep, except they don't build those cars anymore. And nowadays there are so many more acceptable options that setups like this are unnecessary!
Also those cars were REAR WHEEL drive. And they had real frames under them. the front tires on that thing are barely touching the ground, and they do all the pulling, and most of the stopping. Can't compare a minivan to a 70s car. The minivan is not in the same category as a real car.
Yah, I get that, but the pendulum has swung the other way a bit on this side of the pond. Europeans love to RV but they don't have trucks. Everything is pulled with a car. But yah, the rigs tend to be lighter and smaller.
