I've had but one blow out (relatively new tire) (knock on wood) in more than 200,000+++ miles of towing. I run at 67MPH on good roads less on bad ones. I check air pressure in the morning before moving on.
My truck is well up to the task of towing and the trailer is matched to the truck, none of this towing because my truck can move the load. We travel to far and too long for this type of thinking. I change my tires at 50,000 miles or 3 years which ever comes first. A few hundred bucks means a lot to the safety of us and our trailer.
Good luck and enjoy the ride!~
