I agree having worked many hours and days. It was hard to do longer trips without lots of windshield time.
I disagree though with having drive to the point of being a hazard to others. Driving faster could and does at times create more issues then blown tires.
As a retiree, I try to avoid long holidy weekends. I try to find a location so worker bees have a better chance to find what they are looking for during these weekends.
I'm certainly not advocating driving recklessly and by the same token, I'm not upset at the guys doing 63 mph down I 90 just east of BFE. As such I don't be little the slow drivers.....unless they're in the left lane.
It's very considerate of you to leave the good spots for us weekend warriors! Seriously.
We were totally impressed with the unreal spot we got last weekend over the 4th. Couldn't believe there were so few people there. Or maybe we just drove further than everyone else! Lol
