I definitely agree, CG speeding is one of my all-time pet peeves as there is no, none, nada, zip excuse for it. Twice in my life I have witnessed a child being struck by a car and that is something you will never forget. On our last trip up to Big Lake in the White mountains last June it was particularly bad. We had taken a site right in the middle of the CG and it had an inordinate amount of high speed traffic. I will never put us on a major access road again (if I can help it as It seemed better on the outer loops).
I complained to the hosts who just threw up their hands saying there was nothing they could do. I suggested calling in the Ranger or local Sheriff but I guess they just did not want to be bothered.
IMHO: A simple, polite warning for the first offense followed by expulsion (without a refund), if it happened again would go a long way towards solving the problem.
