5mph speed limits are pure stupidity and more likely to cause an accident than letting drivers pick a reasonable speed.
I'm a traffic engineer and the studies back me. If a large percentage of drivers are exceeding the posted speed limit, there is something wrong with the speed limit.
Nothing worse than a puffed up polititian playing the "save the children" card.
We are talking about speed limits in campgrounds. I doubt your research covers that. Just because everyone speeds doesnt make it right.
