I removed what I thought might be a check valve and cleaned it, but noise still continues. There is a second connection to the heater but I can't get that one to break loose. I just about pulled the tank loose from the mounting.
The local RV store guy just looked at me in wonderment when I explained the noise. I would have bought a part, but they weren't much help.
Help???
How loud is the squealing? And are you sure it's coming from the hot water heater? Is it only when the waters running or when the heater is running? Are you connected to city water or running the pump?
