Find ST tires that are made outside of China, and you might have something there.
I won't be buying any Chinese tires. So I had to go with Firestone Transforce HT. Works for me. And I can drive faster than 65 MPH.
That's easy, Maxxis ST tires are made in Thailand
The *easy* part is checking the country of origin code on your tires.
Maxxis tires are made (manufactured) in:
Yauan Lin Taiwan
Xiamen China
Kunshan China
Payong Province Thailand
and Vietnam by the - Cheng Shin Rubber Company.
Regardless of the mfg location, Maxxis has demonstrated there are (some) quality ST "Chinese" tires available..:W

There has been at least three failure threads on Maxxis tires. When you look at the small number installed on travel trailers, I don't think Maxxis has demonstrated anything.
Well mea culpa,..:E.... ROTFL!..:R
I used the term "demonstrated" - referring to the number of satisfied users who post they *have* successfully used them on trailers (does that qualify as "some" as I stated?)- - as opposed to the THREE failure threads you indicate..:S
But - Yikes! The sky is falling - raining..... Maxxis!
And you deserve high marks for being nit-picky.
BTW - However, it's OK by me - I've never owned any Maxxis tires..;)
BTW - there has been at least one Michelin failure thread.....
and lost count of how many GY ST Marathon failure threads on here and other forums (for years), including Marathons mfg in the USA.
