I believe Colorado also leaves them open, stopped in one north of Bolder to weigh the DD Ridgeline pulling a U Haul large tandem axel box trailer that was at max of 5,000# with three adults and two large dogs. That ant the Ridge lines bed and trunk were full! Just worried about the trailer didn't get the GCVW, but thatRidge line did great in the 1,200 miles from Portland, OR through the Blue Mts and the Rockys.
