Yup, I'm afraid this is about all you can do now. You already reported it to the storage lot so that steps is done.
I've never heard of being able to take a deductible off of your taxes but, that my be different in other states. Or, maybe I just didn't know about it
You can write off losses due to theft etc. But the floor is really high so unless you had a big loss most likely never make it. A measly deductible most likely won't get you there.
